True Detective (2014-)

An anthology police detective series in which investigations seem to unearth both personal and professional secrets of
those involved, both within or outside the law. True Detective has been highly acclaimed by critics and is cited as one
of the strongest programs on television. In January 2014, Pizzolatto signed a two-year contract extension with HBO,
effectively renewing the series for two additional seasons.
